At Breathe Salt Room, we’ve brought a beach experience in St. George, Utah. Opening in October 2019 we launched Washington County’s first dry salt therapy center, also known as halotherapy. Halotherapy is a fast-growing holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave.

Halotherapy
A holistic approach that provides the same therapeutic conditions found in salt caves.
Heated Salt Bed
A layer of Himalayan salt covers the jade and tourmaline mat that heats up to 158 degrees. Combing the heat with the gemstone technology produces negative ion therapy.
Foot Zone
A bodywork session that takes a whole person approach – balancing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies at the same time.
Light Therapy
LumiCeuticals light therapy supports cellular performance from skin to brain to bone.
History of Halotherapy
Doctors in Eastern Europe prescribed visits to the salt mines, for relief of respiratory aliments. A salt room replicates the natural microclimate found in the salt caves in Eastern Europe. Now you can come to Breathe Salt Room for the benefits of salt therapy, where the effective and safe benefits of natural salt caves are faithfully replicated.
Our facility offers two halotherapy treatment rooms.
A third room hosts a soothing heated salt bed.
Salty Zen Yoga
Yoga classes at Breathe Salt Room are accompanied by sounds of crystal singing bowls. These bowls are intentionally aligned to frequencies of our seven major chakras. Being in a room with these sounds is believed to clear blockages, balance our body’s energy field, and rejuvenate mind, body, spirit.

Breath Salt Spa is an oasis in the desert. St. George is home to this incredible salt spa, the owner Angie has a wealth of information about the health benefits of salt & the history. You will find salt in various forms from coarser crystals to pharmaceutical grade salt which is sent through a purifier to breath in while relaxing in a lounge chair. Check out this affordable addition to Eastern medicine that may help with a variety of health conditions.

Breathe is a natural healing miracle! I am so excited that the owners Rick and Angie have brought this to our community. I have only been a few times so far, and have noticed significant improvement with sinus and inner ear issues I have been dealing with for a couple years. I have chronic inflammation in my lungs and the salt room has helped to improve my breathing and minimize my cough. If environmental circumstances make my condition worse, I just go the the salt room several days in a row and my breathing improves. BREATHE of St. George is now part of my ongoing health maintenance. I love this place.

I had never been to a salt room, but decided to go with my wife and 5 kids, and Angie was gracious enough to accommodate all of us, amazing! I actually had like an hour nap in the salt room, and my kids loved the children's salt playroom, the floor is made of rock salt they can play in! I highly recommend this place to relax and rejuvenate.

I cannot say enough good about this center. I have struggled with severe asthma, especially this past year. I have gone through so many different types of inhalers to try and find something that would work. I was using a recuse inhaler multiple times daily. I was almost constantly feeling claustrophobic and anxious with my breathing. Out of desperation to find something to help, we came across the Breathe Center. This has been a total game changer for me! I haven't used my rescue inhaler in weeks! For the first time all year, my breathing is starting to feel healthy and good again. Plus, the atmosphere Angie and Rick have created is so relaxing! They are both incredibly kind people. The salt therapy has been such a great experience! And a huge added bonus that it is a naturally healing alternative!

There is truly nothing like this place in town. Not often do I leave a 5 star review, but here I am. If six stars was an option, I’d give Breathe 7. From the kindness of the staff to the cleanliness of the entire building, my experiences at Breathe continue to exceed my expectations and are the reason why I will return for years to come. The pricing is affordable for the hourly salt experience and the memberships are an absolute steal. Breathe has managed to avoid inflation. Whether you are simply looking for a relaxed evening or are feeling under the weather, Breathe is a great place to spend a day here in the heart of southern Utah.
